Mario Halapir

Mario Halapir, Academy Director of Elite Athletes International, is highly regarded provincially and nationally for his dedication to long-term player development and his success in helping players reach the collegiate and professional levels.  Mario is also the Director of the Kitchener Soccer Club Elite Academy (https://kitchenersc.com/elite-academy/) and the long-standing Head Coach for the Wilfrid Laurier University Men’s Soccer team (led teams to several National and Provincial titles). In 2015, Mario was an integral member of the coaching staff for the North American Champions K-W United, playing in the PDL - part of the United Soccer League system that is considered the top U23 men’s league in North America.  He has also been involved as a scout for Toronto FC.  Before focusing on coaching, Mario played in the Canadian Soccer League.

Mario Halapir oversees the coaching staff and directs all initiatives for player development.
